Celebrate with Stickles

This image is free from Avery Elle, and this card is for this challenge. Love their freebie digital images, check them out. They also have some really cool dies that I'm eyeing. This image was fun to color, I started with Prismacolor pencils, then used Icicle Stickles and added some Tombow markers on top of the glitter. The blue edge is inked with three different Distress inks. The straw is from Michael's craft store and I used my new-to-me Crop-a-dile to attach the straw. I used red cardstock and the yellow patterned paper is Bo Bunny. The gold dots are from the dollar section at Jo-Ann's.

This second entry uses two different images from their free digi images...I used more Icicle Stickles and printed the flowers in three sizes and layered them with 3-d glue dots.  The vellum is printed and then embossed in the Big Kick. Then I added some sequins. I used the Tombow markers again on this one. You can click on the picture to see it more clearly. I still haven't figured out why they are sometimes blurry on here. I hope to fix it one day!

You can enter this fun challenge over here at All That Stickles if you're like me and love your Stickles. They have a challenge ending May 10 that uses Icicle.

Happy Almost Monday, which around here is known as my birthday...woot! Check out this giveaway in honor of my son's birthday, which is also known as Tuesday...he had the courtesy to wait until I celebrated my day before he was born the next. :)
