After The Fireworks

Whew! That was a fun weekend—lots of fireworks, family time, hot dogs and running around. Hope your weekend was fun and that maybe you got some crafting in. I did! I made some cards for the Operation Write Home  card party. I used a sketch (#146 with some changes) to create his and hers superhero cards. I love this washi, so I had to use it. I printed the photos from the internet with the copyrights attached but I'd use stickers if i had them. I'm linking them to Sybrina's challenge.

For these cards, I used Sunny Side die cuts and a cloud I cut out to ink the sky with different distress inks.

And a2z Scrapbooking Supplies is having a $25 giveaway if you link up your card to their challenge for OWH. What a great way to celebrate our freedom—by using our creativity and time to make cards for soldiers to send home to their families.

Oh, and I have a winner! Heather Maria wins two of her fave stencils from the a2z Scrapbooking Supplies store! Take a look, Heather, and let me know which two you'd like. Message me your addy and I'll order them asap! Congrats and thanks to everyone for commenting!

Happy Monday,
Chark
