Squirrels Just Wanna Have Fun

So over at Emily Leiphart's blog, Art from the Heart, I learn a great deal from her helpful videos—plus such a soothing voice!—and Emily's having a giveaway of Paper Smooches stamps. The contest is called SquirrelFest, so I had to jump in.

My daughter, Colleen, used to make regular songs into songs about squirrels. There was Squirrels (Girls) Just Wanna Have Fun, A Whole New Squirrel (World) and many others. She even performed one at an elementary talent show back in the day. I think she'd approve of SquirrelFest.

Here are two of my entries. There might be more later...cuz once you get on the squirrel train, it's hard to stop!

These epoxy animals are from Glitz Design and the buttons are from Basic Grey. The wood paper is cut from Simple Stories paper and the background is Lawn Fawn.

The squirrel and leaf are cut from Simple Stories patterned paper and the background orange papers are from Simple Stories Snap collection. Made the postage die cut in a class.

So, if you like squirrels or you're a Beautiful Squirrel (Girl) then why don't you join me in Emily's challenge?

Happy Friday!
