Celebrate Craft Month

I love that there's a National Craft Month and that it's this month! I feel like I ought to focus and get some actual creating done...but I find that keeping myself organized enough to find the supplies I want when I want them is daunting.

I was looking for my stencils today and it took me awhile, even though I only have a craft closet and not an actual craft room. I think there's a lesson there. Perhaps my craft closet doesn't have enough room, but most likely it's that I have too much stuff and not enough sense to put it back in its place when I'm finished. I'm trying a little craft buying break, but there are so many great sales!

Butterfly Reflections is have a huge Spring Fling clearance sale and I keep filling a cart and then emptying it :) cuz I'm supposed to be not buying stuff! I've ordered from them before and been happy with the service.

Craft Ideas magazine, which is a great publication imo, has giveaways each month. You do have to do an online account, but you don't have to subscribe to the mag. Though I just did for my upcoming birthday. And I admit, I have been published in this mag, so of course I love it! But I do read it cover to cover each month, even when I'm not in there...lol.

Craftsy has a giveaway for a $500 box of craft goodies...and they have great online classes, some of which are free! What better time to take an online class to learn crafts? Uh, there is no better time, it's National Craft Month, people! They offer papercrafting classes with Shari Carroll and Catherine Pooler and lots more. I've taken a couple of classes and ordered from them with no problems.

favecrafts is having a giveaway on their blog too...you can win by commenting on their videos for March. I've never visited them before now, but it looks packed with ideas.

a2z Scrapbooking Supplies, for which I run the Design Team, does a monthly challenge where you can make a card with Hero Arts products and following a theme (March is Playing with Stencils) but also, this month, all you need to do is comment on the blog and you're entered to win a $25 gift code to the store. If you comment each day, that's 31 chances to win!

Leisure Arts is giving away a variety of crafts to celebrate too.

Scrapbook.com that I've both ordered from and taken online classes from (usually free, they aren't terribly in-depth, but they are interesting), is having a year-long giveaway for $1,000 worth of Tim Holtz products. Woohoo! Course if I win, I'll forget I entered by then, but that's okay.

Okay, folks, here's hoping this month is full of crafty fun and maybe a prize!
Happy Monday!
Chark
