I follow football like a cat follows orders...not at all. However, my son decided this year we needed to have a family Super Bowl party. So, we did. The party consisted of snacks and tv, like most Super Bowl parties. The only real stake I had in the game was that the Ravens had an Edgar Allen Poe connection, (did you know their mascot is named Poe?) so I rooted for them—being a book lover and all—and they totally won! Yay! And now I hope I can go on not really caring about it one way or the other (with apologies to any football-loving friends).
On to the fun stuff—a card made for my sister, who loves butterflies. The is a Hero Arts stamp, distress inks and a scrap of glitter paper. The embossing folder is from Stampin' Up and the rhinestones are part of a rhinestone flourish. Fast and easy. I like to stamp a bunch of butterflies, ink them at the same time and then trim for any card making needs in the future. It's pretty handy and my sister seemed to like the card, so win-win.
Have a Great Week! See you here on Wednesday!
