Have A Smiley Face Kind of Day

I found some buttons at the dollar store, a pack of yellow, blue and pink ones and a dollar store frame. I sat down with a sharpie permanent marker and looked at some emoji on my phone. I came up with this little project.

I painted the flat frame green with Dylusions Fresh Lime Acrylic paint, then attached the emoji buttons I made with Multi Matte Medium. 

I like how it turned out. Now all I have to do is find a good pic to put in the frame. This would be great to give to a pre-teen as a little birthday gift, maybe with some cash or gift card in the frame. And I have a great-niece who is celebrating a March birthday. Hmmmm...coincidence?
