Birthday Fishes

I found some cute fish paper at the local scrap store and bought it, not knowing exactly what I'd do with it. Since April is our family's biggest birthday month (three nephews, two nieces, a great-niece, me, my son, my sister and three friends all have April birthdays), I found a use for it for my nephew's (Henry's) 13th birthday. And I've seen the sentiment Sending Birthday Fishes, so I had to use that with my new paper—the dot paper is the reverse of the fishes.

I used some Diamond Stickles to color one fish and to add sparkle to the numbers. Inside I wrote the fish message and a little fish I cut out and added a party hat to. Don't know why I didn't photograph the inside, but it's in the mail, so you'll have to trust me, ha!

I used some copper line stickers to outline one of the panels, I love these stickers! I have them in gold and silver glitter too. Here they are in close-up.

You can order the fish paper and Stickles from Scrapbook.com, one of my favorite online stores, and while you're there, check out their free classes. I love learning new stuff and I love free stuff, so it made me extra happy to see these classes. I'm not affiliated with them or anything, just thought I'd offer you a resource that I enjoy.

Happy Monday!
