Ballerina Girl

Here's my ballerina from the Jane Davenport art journal. I enjoyed coloring with my Prismacolor pencils, but now I'm wondering if I should use the colorful paper in the journal to decoupage to the dress instead. Hmmm....

If you want your own journal to color/doodle in/decoupage, here's the link. I'm loving mine and you can search "whimsical girls" in my sidebar to find more pages.

And here's the Lionel Richie video that inspired my post title. Ah, the 80s...weren't they fab? I know I enjoyed them! Go Class of '86!

Happy Wednesday!

Lacy Texture

I'm joining in another A Day for Daisies challenge, using this wonderful digi stamp of theirs. If you want to play along, you have to use a ADFD image but they kindly let you borrow a freebie for the challenge.

This isn't the freebie, but one I own and I trimmed out her dress and added lace and pop dots under it, and added a resin rose on the dress and black rhinestones in her hair. Love this image, so elegant!

I trimmed the image and mounted it to a purple base. She makes me smile with her pop out dress!

Hope you'll join in with me at ADFD!

Happy Monday!
