If you know this quote is from Alice in Wonderland, you might want to enter this cool challenge over at The Altered Alice blog. I've been entering here and there for awhile, using a lot of free vintage Alice images. If you want to buy Alice stamps, there are some really fun sources out there, including these by Danita. They seem cute and kinda edgy, not sure how Danita pulls this off, but I'm buying these soon!
The theme this time for the challenge is Romance in Wonderland. I decided to feature the White Rabbit. Who couldn't love a fluffy white bunny with a nervous habit? And he has hearts all over his outfit, so it's a no-brainer. The prize comes from Simply Betty Stamps, rubber and digi stamps with some amazing images (my favorites are the steampunk Cinderella and Red Riding Hood, but there's something for everyone!)
Yes, I did add glittered touches, thank you for noticing. The letters are already glittered (a gift from a friend) and the heart is a Tim Holtz die on a self-adhesive red glitter paper I got from a scrap store bargain bin—love bargains! I also used an embossing folder and vellum paper and rounded the corners to give it more of a playing card look. And, voila! Or viola! as the Smothers Brothers say...well, Tommy says.
Have a great week!
