The first is this mini album I made. You can tell its size from the sequin size. It holds wallet-size pics. I folded the little cards and stapled them together and then added some pics and paraphernalia to the album. I added pockets by folding some pages and cutting and gluing others and made one page look like a file folder. I tied on some baker's twine and added some star sequins from Pretty Little Studio. I love their vintage die cuts and now I love their sequins!
For my second project, I used the same collections and made a banner for the house. I layered journaling cards and squares and popped the last layer with pop dots after I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink to distress the edges of the little squares. I also used a corner rounder for the bottom edges of each flag. I added some flower brads to the flowers on the bike and house art to give it a little dimension.
Found the NBUS challenge site and am entering this there since these journaling cards are new and virginal :) I love the idea behind this challenge. I didn't think I'd ever be someone with schtuff I'd never used, but it's official. I am. Time to use it!
Happy Friday!
Chark
