Get Caught Reading Month!

It's almost the end of May and the end of Get Caught Reading Month, so to celebrate, I thought I'd tell you what you'd catch me reading today. It's The Glass Casket by McCormick Templeman.

It's a Young Adult book that uses elements of Snow White and Rose Red (the characters are Fiona and Rowan) but twists it a bit. There's danger here and it's otherworldly. It's taken me a bit to get into and we'll see if I like the ending, but right now, it's riveting. Hope I caught you reading something good this month!

Here's a card I made for the Watercolor Online Class from earlier posts. It uses a stamp that you then watercolor so that it ends up looking more like a painting than stamping. Highly recommend the class, although the supply list is ridiculous looking. If you have any kind of watercolors or distress inks or markers like Tombow, two brushes, an open-line flower stamp, and a few other stamps, you're good. The paper is key and I suggest both watercolor paper and bristol to try both.

Barb G, guest designer at a2z scrapbooking, encouraged me to enter this into their linky party with the garden theme. So I shall! Thanks for the push, Barb!

Happiest of weekends,
Chark
