Fun Journey

Since it's vacation season almost (summer break is almost here!), thought I'd share a journey card I made for the Birthday Bash Monica Taylor is having over at her TaylorMadeCards4U blog here. The mood board is below and I thought of the Hero Arts Vintage Travel digital stamps I have. I love that cathedral, but I don't have anything that would work for that. Note to self: search for cathedral stamps.

I printed off the car and colored it with Prismacolor pencils. Then I added 4 papers from Pretty Little Studios. I used some Salty Ocean Distress Ink on the edges and for a final touch I added copper stickers (lines) and a little metal word embellishment from Making Memories from my stash.

Here's a little close-up, where you can see the copper lines better. If you want to join in the Vintage Journey fun at Taylor Made Cards 4 U, just click here to see the board and rules and link up. It's Monica's birthday, so stop by and say Happy Birthday if you get a minute!

As for me, I'm looking forward to sleeping in, heading to Minnesota and some quality family time! Bring on the summer journey!

Happy Monday!
Chark
