Best Buds with Doodlebug

I used the cut files I got from Lori Whitlock that are Doodlebug Design. I don't have a cutting machine (just a Big Shot) but I printed these cuties out and added some colored pencils and then trimmed with scissors to add to my card. So happy to know the SVG files can just be printed and used without a Silhouette machine. Doodlebug Design makes me happy!

Cozy Hot Cocoa

Squeezing in one last cocoa project for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! Got this free cutie stamp recently from Sweet Escape Digis and had to color him up. I love that the marshmallows are smiling and the cup is wearing a scarf! I layered some embossed and die cut pieces to add to the front of this cute pink gift bag. The Hugs die is from Lawn Fawn.

Happy National Hot Cocoa Day

How perfect is it that the Coffee Lovers (and Tea and Cocoa Lovers) blog hop is during National Hot Cocoa Day? We all have our favorite hot drinks and cocoa is one that I love to have in the winter. 

My daughter drinks it all the time, but it's definitely my cold-weather treat. In fact, I'm going to get some right now! And I have little gingerbread boy cookie so he's going to get dunked just like in this photo. I used it for my inspiration for my card today too.

I won this cup and reindeer die from Gina Marie Designs from one of the hops and love it. It's just the right size for cards...I made the reindeer into Rudolph by using red cardstock and clear Nuvo drops. The papers are all from a 6x6 paper pack that is so old you can't find it anymore. The gingerbread die can be found here.

For this version, I used paper from Doodlebug Design Milk and Cookies (for the back) and the coffee cup paper I got here. The cup is the same but I added a tree die cut from the Hero Arts Santa Snacks Stamp and Cut set. The steam is a sticker from Doodlebug too.

Here's a recipe for Hot Chocolate cookies I'm dying to try...maybe today is the perfect day to do so!

Coffee Hopping and Giveaway

Hi my caffeinated friends! I have a project up for a2z Scrapbooking today and another project using a digi stamp from Hero Arts (Caffeine Fix). 

I printed it on kraft paper and used Prismacolor pencils to color. Then I added a tree die cut from the Santa Snacks from Hero Arts. I used a white gel pen and black fine tip to add details and gold washi for fun shine!

Late Night Tea Time

My favorite time to have a cup of tea is in the evening, after supper, while I'm watching some shows, like Orphan Black. I love me some clone tv! It's gotta be warm and decaf black tea, because caffeine after dinner is a mistake for me, with a cookie to make it a perfect little snack. I don't always have the cookie, but it's a rare night for me to go without a cuppa.

These little Doodlebug cups and sugar cubes are so cute, I had to get them and make a card for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. The paper is from the 6x6 paper pad from the same Cream and Sugar Collection.
