Drink Up

It's time once again for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I'm right here again. I love this hop...it's always so fun, there are tons of prizes and new companies to peek at and a million different ideas for crafting and cardmaking. Plus, everyone is so supportive and cool! Thanks to Amy and her coffee crew for keeping this hop alive, season after season.

This mini-coffee cup (4 oz) craft came from my lss, The Paper Cottage, and I loved the idea, the papers and the mini cup, so I purchased a kit just for this hop! You can fit in a little treat or single-cup drink for the Keurig machine. I can take no credit, other than putting it together and adding Stickles to the sentiment...oh, and creating a yellow "a" in the Make A Wish die cut that somehow got lost :)

Happy Hopping!

Celebrating Summer

I'm officially going to celebrate summer as it's my son's first day off school and my daughter has been off for a couple of weeks. No more getting up early, quizzing for Spanish vocab or Algebra, no more calls from school, "mom, I forgot..." and no more "let's go!" in the morning. Whew! As Alice Cooper says, "School's Out For Summer!"

My older sister used to play Alice Cooper and he should've scared me as a kid, but he never really did...even though now I think "ew" when I see him perform. That's why I used the Muppet version of this song. Less blood and more cuteness.

Here's a card I made at a lss, The Paper Cottage, where I get all my new paper lines. This one is Crate Paper called Maggie Holmes Confetti and I love how well it all goes together.  The colors are soft and beautiful.

The second card took a wee bit of time. We hand cut all the banners and they were little! But I do like how it turned out. And the bird is so cute! The wood grain paper was some of the prettiest I've seen. I'm not a huge fan of using wood grain, no idea why, but I love this one. I do like when I see it on other people's projects, I just never buy it. It's behind the banner.

Happy Friday and Happy Summer!
