Make Mine a Soy Latte

I love this $3 Jess with Coffee image from Sweet Escape Digis. Of course I bought this for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and so here she is on a card with Lawn Fawn paper (I colored her shirt with the same zig zags, but then I covered up one of them with the sentiment from the Punny Collection of Doodlebug). I made her Christmas colors too, so she'd fit into the Winter theme of the hop.

You have a couple more days to enter the hop with your coffee/tea/cocoa themed project here.

You can also scroll down to comment and enter my four giveaways or head to my IG to comment. You have until Thursday night to enter!

Happy Wednesday!

Where Would I Be Without Coffee

I have this great set of coffee stamps from Big Grins at Stamplorations called Dark Coffee and the sentiment I used on this card is "Where would I be without Coffee?" I masked off the answer, "In bed, of course" and typed a sentiment for the inside of this card...now it reads, "Dead Tired, of course."

I used the Hero Arts ghost dies on glitter paper, backed them with some patterned vellum and then mounted the panel on MFT aqua striped cardstock. I love this orange glitter paper...no idea where I got it, but the glitter stays put and that's my favorite kind of glitter paper. The coffee cups are from Hero Arts City Adventure stamps.

Even ghosties need a caffeine fix if they're going to be haunting all night!

Hope you'll join in the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with me and about a million other people :) This hop keeps growing every season and it's been fun to watch.

Happy Monday!

Drink Up

It's time once again for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I'm right here again. I love this hop...it's always so fun, there are tons of prizes and new companies to peek at and a million different ideas for crafting and cardmaking. Plus, everyone is so supportive and cool! Thanks to Amy and her coffee crew for keeping this hop alive, season after season.

This mini-coffee cup (4 oz) craft came from my lss, The Paper Cottage, and I loved the idea, the papers and the mini cup, so I purchased a kit just for this hop! You can fit in a little treat or single-cup drink for the Keurig machine. I can take no credit, other than putting it together and adding Stickles to the sentiment...oh, and creating a yellow "a" in the Make A Wish die cut that somehow got lost :)

Happy Hopping!

Tea and Cookies, Please

I'm a huge tea drinker...well, I'm not that huge, but I do like a lot of tea (rim shot to indicate how hilarious I am) and a fan of food stamps with faces...so when I saw this Mama Elephant stamp set, I had to buy it.

And here are just two of the cutie stamps together, just like I prefer. Tea and cookies!

Here they are in close-up...now these are tiny, so they can be tricky to color, but they're so adorable, it's worth getting out the eyeglasses for.

I inked the circle and mounted it on a die cut snowflake (my winter theme) and then on a scallop oval made of Yupo paper and sprayed with inks. The card behind is embossed.

Hope you're enjoying the coffee hop...I am, but I'm just a little behind on commenting :) Can't believe how quickly this hop has grown! Don't forget to link up your winter coffee/tea/cocoa project to win!

GIVEAWAY: Just comment on this or any of my Coffee Lovers posts Friday, Monday, Wednesday or Friday to be entered to win this pair of stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn (I originally wanted to give a LF stitched rectangle die set, but I literally cannot find it, and I'm running out of places to look. But I know where these guys are!)

If you comment on multiple days, your name goes in the draw multiple times (one per post, comments closing at noon EST Saturday, December 17).

Happy Wednesday!

Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop

Hi, my coffee/tea/cocoa loving friends, I decided to make a wreath from the leaves of the Altenew Beautiful Day set and coffee cups form the Hero Arts City Adventure stamp set. I used Hero Arts Pine ink and a Tombow marker in a darker green for the leaves and then Tombows for the cups. I used my Wink of Stella to add the shine you can see in the close-up.

GIVEAWAY: If you leave a comment on this post or any of mine during the coffee hop week, you will be entered to win the Lawn Fawn Fairy stamp and dies. If you comment on multiple days, your name goes in the draw multiple times. I post Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, so you should have 4 chances to win if you comment each time (one per post, comments closing at noon EST Saturday, December 17).

Also, have to take a minute and add a little happy news--I'm published in the Winter Issue of Craft Ideas magazine and I made the cover, first time ever! Okay the finished project isn't on the cover, but parts of it are, so I'm counting it :) You can get a digital subscription or paper subscription here if you're looking for tons of winter craft ideas. Sometimes Kroger carries it and you might be able to find it at Jo Ann's or Michael's.

If you want to link up with the Coffee Lovers, click here and if you want to stop by the a2z Scrapbooking Supplies store (we're a Sponsor) you can do that here.

Coffee Hopping With Friends

Yay, it's time for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Here's my first entry. It's a digi from Hero Arts I got from a2z Scrapbooking, the only retailer seller for the Hero Arts digital stamps.

I tried to make the words look like candy corn with my Zig Watercolor Markers and some white pencil.

The flowers and leaves are from this Bird Color Layering set. I used Hero Arts Bold Hybrid Inks in Strawberry and Tangerine for the flowers and Pine (with black) for the leaves. These hybrid inks are so saturated and pretty.

If you want some of these products or different ones (Hero Arts has new planner and holiday stamps/products out right now), you can use my super secret code CHARK15 to get 15% off your order of $25 or more at the a2z Scrapbooking Supplies store, where I'm on the DT.

Thanks for stopping by, make sure you visit the a2z Scrapbooking blog to enter to win $25 to the store!

Happy Friday!

Can't Stop, Won't Stop

I can't seem to stop  making coffee cards for the CL Blog Hop. What is that all about? And I'm a tea drinker! But I do send a lot of Starbucks gift cards to the college students in my life, so I will use these. Still, my son said today, "you don't drink coffee," when he saw my new card. Yeah, I know, son.

I think this guy is super cute. He's from the Valentine Doodlebug collection this year and he looks like he's had a little caffeine, so I drew him a little cup and used the Hero Arts digi Caffeine Fix coffee beans to make a background and then a big bean that I printed "Bean Me" on.

I added some thin gold stickers for a border and adhered my layers. He's definitely ready to give someone a coffee gift card!

Don't forget to comment on this post or any post on my blog this week (or you can comment on my coffee cards on my flickr account if you hate blogger's captcha problems) to be entered in my giveaway of 5 free digi stamps from 2 Cute Ink. Here's a couple of images you could choose from if you're the winner!

Can I Get A Grande?

Love this digital Hero Arts Caffeine Fix stamp set and can't stop making cups. This one uses my barnd-new mini Hero Arts flower gems. I felt they would be a perfect way to decorate my cup for Spring for the Coffee Lovers spring blog hop.

I used Prismacolor pencils for the cup and a watercolor pencil for the sleeve so I could blend it with water a bit to get a shadow. The papers are from my new Amy Tangerine Plus One 6x6 paper pad. Love them all, including the sentiment rectangle. I drew in the steam with a Faber-Castell marker.
Here's a close-up.

I'm entering this project, featuring my new papers, over at the Right At Home blog hop to celebrate National Craft Month. You have one more day to enter if you like here.

And if you like this digi set or these gems, you can hop over to the a2z Scrapbooking shop, spend $25 or more before shipping and use CHARK15 to get 15% off your order!

Happy Tuesday!

Teatime with Pooh and Piglet

A friend just gave me a set of rubber stamps from a yard sale she got for less than 50 cents...she loves Pooh and friends too and knew I like to stamp, so it was the best gift ever! I literally sat down that night and started stamping.

It's an old Christmas set and Pooh is actually holding a present, but I cut them apart and gave him a little tea cup instead. Piglet looks excited to get it.

I adhered them to a piece of canvas that I watercolored and made it into a "tea bag" tag. I put the pen in the pic so you could see how little it is.

I did the no-line watercoloring with Tombow markers and paintbrush. I'm entering this on the last day into the Coffee Loving Blog Hop.

You can leave a comment below or on my first post for the hop for a drawing for blog candy. I'll draw a winner on Sunday.

And if you want a free digi tea cup, you can go to this post.

Thanks for the fun hop yet again, Amy!!

Cheers!

Coffee, Tea Or Prizes

I'm linking up my first project for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop today. I've been part of this fun group since the beginning and it's always a blast. I'm a tea drinker and though I love the smell of coffee, I just don't drink it. But I am a die-hard-gotta-have-my-cuppa so I fit in this group just fine :)

I'm using the fun digital kit from Hero Arts called Caffeine Fix and I just printed three sizes together so I could use this sentiment stamp that I won from Jennifer at Caffeinated Papercuts at one of these hops! She also gave me the striped newspaper paper in the background in a set of 6x6 papers from Prima called Coffee Break.

If you want to join in the hop anytime between now and October 2, 2015, you can create a coffee, tea or cocoa project and link it up here to try to win! If you need some stamps, you can always buy these digis from a2z Scrapbooking and get started instantly. They're here and they're just $6.99 for the digi set of 12. I'm not a huge digi girl, but I do buy some stamps so I can color and size them any way I want.

Hope you join in! Just keep to the fall theme and the coffee/tea/cocoa theme and you're good. I tried to mimic the sky with distress inks here in Ohio during September, it's absolutely gorgeous. Not cloudy, not washed out by the sun, just clear, beautiful blue. I made the cups some of the autumn leaf colors that we see here too, with my Prismacolor pencils.

Happy Friday,
Chark

p.s. I wanted to thank everyone for their kind comments, so I've added some blog candy to this hop. If you've left me a comment on any of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop posts, you're entered to win a $15 gift certificate to Pretty Little Studios, one of my favorite crafty stores. They have the most adorable vintage images and some beautiful printed vellum and sequin mixes you've gotta have.

I'll announce a winner on Monday, October 5, so you have until 8 am EDT on Monday October 5th to leave a comment on any of the 2015 coffee posts. Good luck! Check out PLS to see what you could get with $15--hint, it's a lot!! Plus, there are tons of sales and freebies too with your order.

Winner, Winner, Coffee Dinner!

Ok, it's not as catchy as "Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner" but my winner is from the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, so that's what I went with! Congrats to:

Terri Burson (Waving My Wand)! You're the random winner of the coffee cup stencil from Stamplorations!!

Email me your address and I'll send it to you asap and don't be surprised if there's a little something else in there too!

Thanks so much for the kind comments and all the inspiration during the hop, friends!!

Thought I'd do a book cover of the week, even though it's been a couple of weeks since we had one. I love this cover and I kinda love the synopsis (Dr. Who meets Sherlock Holmes) so I may have to read this one soon!

Happy Monday!

Coffee Time!

Here's my second entry for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop...couldn't resist one more project. It's a little hanger for your desk and I used my Hero Arts digital stamps from the Caffeine Set here.

I printed the sentiment as a thumbnail so it would fit on the cup...it reads With Enough Coffee, Anything is Possible.

I added a little paper flower from Hero Arts and a bit of self-adhesive ribbon too.

If you want this digi set, it's just $6.99 over at a2z Scrapbooking Supplies (exclusive supplier of Hero Arts digital stamps).

Happy Hopping, my caffeinated friends! It's bean fun...get it? bean? hilarious, I know!

Summer Coffee Lovers Hop

I love this group of people who love coffee and crafts...now, granted I'm not a coffee drinker, so you might wonder why I'm part of the group. Because they don't discriminate and tea and cocoa drinkers are welcome too! I couldn't get by without my tea. Gotta have a cup in the morning to get started and then during lunch and then one at night (decaf of course) to finish out the day.

So, here's my entry using free digis from Useless Trinkets here. Jessa Feig provides both images and sayings to go with them and I heart them so much! This unicorn comes with a coffee cup, a donut and a couple of other little things.

I colored him and fussy cut him out and then adhered him to a little bag. I think it'd be a great way to give a coffee gift card. I used my Prismacolor pencils to make the scene for him. Here's a close up to see the Stickles on his horn and mane.

BLOG CANDY ALERT!! Leave me a comment and you can be entered to win this very cool coffee cup stencil from Stamplorations...and maybe something else fun! Open to everyone! Winner chosen after
Friday, June 12th @ 11:59 pm pacific.

And, for another chance to win a different stencil (of your choice from a2z Scrapbooking Supplies), see this post.

Happy Hopping!
