Halloween Freebie Friday

Hey, friends, I was doodling (as is my wont while watching the tv) and made this little ghost for Halloween...so I thought I'd share him with you if you're looking for something for a tag or card or even a scrapbook page. Just right click on him and copy and save to your computer.

Of course, I'd love to see if you do create something with him! I decided the handle on his pumpkin should show through his arm...but it's got to be a ghost pumpkin or he couldn't pick it up...or could he?

Just in case you're not into cutesy, I've got this freebie for you today as well. It's from The Graphic Fairy. I think it looks like she's in a library, what do you think?

I love Halloween for no good reason, but crafty Halloween stuff makes me happy and so does decorating and maybe even watching a scary movie, though that last thing depends on my mood. I don't like gross, so that leaves out a lot of horror flicks. I did just watch The Bad Seed (Rob Lowe's version) and Winchester, a historical ghost story, and I didn't have to cover my eyes once! My hubby and sister are hard-core horror fans and her hubby will watch them too but I usually regret them or find something else to do! Here's to a mildly scary Halloween!

Happy Friday!

Where Would I Be Without Coffee

I have this great set of coffee stamps from Big Grins at Stamplorations called Dark Coffee and the sentiment I used on this card is "Where would I be without Coffee?" I masked off the answer, "In bed, of course" and typed a sentiment for the inside of this card...now it reads, "Dead Tired, of course."

I used the Hero Arts ghost dies on glitter paper, backed them with some patterned vellum and then mounted the panel on MFT aqua striped cardstock. I love this orange glitter paper...no idea where I got it, but the glitter stays put and that's my favorite kind of glitter paper. The coffee cups are from Hero Arts City Adventure stamps.

Even ghosties need a caffeine fix if they're going to be haunting all night!

Hope you'll join in the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with me and about a million other people :) This hop keeps growing every season and it's been fun to watch.

Happy Monday!

It's A Challenging Day

Actually, it's a lovely day and I'm entering some challenges with this post. I'm joining in with the Sparkle and Shine Challenge I told you about in this post, using their glittery pumpkin image.

Here's my take on it. I've used a Day for Daisies free! digi stamp to make a candy bag for Halloween. Love this image of these friendly ghosts! I'm linking this up for their Make It Sweet Challenge too.

Instead of glittery pumpkins, I used Tombow markers to watercolor and Stickles to glitter up my ghosts. That little girl is having a ball! I put some mini candy bars in a lunch sack and used this panel to dress it up for Halloween. I love that ribbon, it's so very Halloweeny. Yep, that's a word...at least it is here :)

Hope you'll join in the challenges with me!

Happy Weekend!
