If this is National Hobby Month, why am I working?

Just a little question for the day...it's raining here in Ohio and dark and cozy inside. I'd rather be scrapbooking, cardmaking or reading a good book with a cup of hot tea. Luckily, it is also Hot Tea Month so maybe I can try that as an excuse. "I had to celebrate Tea Month somehow, so drinking and reading seemed like a better choice than, well, anything else!" I guess I'd better get back to work until it's a national holiday. In the meantime, here are some good reads for you just in case you get to curl up with a book soon!
I swear, I thought this was a novel for the first 2/3 of the book. When I realized it was a memoir, it moved me so much. A beautifully told story of a place far removed from my small-town existence.
This novel is just an amazing read. A young adult novel that stays with you for a long time. Unforgettable characters. Loved it.
And for the artist/hobbyist/creative minded, any of the Stampington & Company magazines are perfect—Somerset Studio, GreenCraft, Stuffed, Somerset Life—pick one up at JoAnn Fabrics and enjoy!
Happy Hobby Month and Happy Hot Tea Month!
