Cowardly Feathers

Apparently white feathers are a symbol of cowardice, especially in the British Army, but it can also be a symbol of peace here in the states. I'm going with peace, since I've stamped my fave feather stamp at a2z Scrapbooking Supplies in white Hero Arts White Unicorn ink. It's a much nicer meaning.

I love these stamps in white—the delicate feathers look fabulous on vellum, kraft and on black. Here I've sprayed the black cardstock with Tattered Angels (teal) and Shimmer Spray in gold. After it dried, I stamped the feathers. The patterned paper is from Studio Calico.

I decided it'd make a good guy card for my nephew, who's turning 22 this year. Sigh. Time flies!

Hope you get some crafty time in soon!
