Cold And More Cold

Since so many of us here in the US and Canada are sooo flippin' cold right now, I thought I'd share some fun cold weather links.

First, soup recipes! These are the 25 Best Soup Recipes from Cooking Light. Love this French Onion Soup.

And now here are some free digis for you. This cute snowman is free from Whimsie Doodles.

You can download the snowman pattern, print is on white copy paper and wrap up some popcorn for friends. I'm thinking of doing this for the neighbors, who always give us a ham at Christmas that they get from work. Isn't that cool of them? I thought a New Year's gift might include a couple of these, along with some Redbox coupon codes.

If you're already looking ahead to Valentine's Day (and my hubby's birthday!), you can use this free image from The Graphics Fairy.

And this would make a cute card for the grandparents or a great addition to a scrapbook page. It's from Designer Digitals.

And these aren't digital, but clear and they're not free, but they are reeeallly inexpensive at $4.00. These are perfect for Valentine goodies. Make tags for gifts or candy, cards and scrapbook pages with these stamps from a2z Scrapbooking.

I think they'd be lovely in gold or silver embossing. If you wanna mention my name (CHARK15) I can get you a 15% discount on your cart. That's because we're buddies.

And if you have kids to entertain, check out this article on snow day activities by Meredith Johns.

And last thing—The Book Cover of the Week is a book that's not out yet, but available for preorder. It's from Fairest by Marissa Meyer. I don't know if I'll read it, but I do admire this cover. Creepy, classic and intriguing, am I right? Did it make you shiver?

Happy Snowy Friday, Friend!

  1. very nice for post and how about paper craft is the simple and easiest craft among kids, it can easily be done by them and it is easy to even teach them too. You can make some of the most simple and cute stuff with paper. There are hundreds and thousands of activities ideas and videos on the internet which will let you know amazing ideas for paper craft. It is the best time killing activity to get your kid to indulge into the form of art that is informative for the kids. Even the paper is cheap too, you do not need to spend much money on it and you can get amazing ideas for yourself.
