Teddy Bear Day

Happy Teddy Bear Day! Now, I was more of a doll girl when I was a kid, but I had one teddy and his name was Winnie the Pooh. My particular bear is long gone, but he looked like this one.

I loved the tv show The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and the voice actor was perfect. Eeyore always cracked me up because of his sad demeanor and Piglet was sooo cute!

Here's a project I did awhile ago that features my favorite teddy bear. He's a tag inside a gift bag. Love the original illustrations like this one.

    Funny you should post this. I also love Winnie the Pooh. I actually still have my Pooh Bear that looked very similar to this. But... Early on when we got our dog my son was home with the dog one evening when we were out. I got a phone call & guess who got to my Pooh Bear. It is still in a plastic bag. I was thinking I would have it repaired some day. I also remember a report/project that was about Winnie the Pooh I did with another girl in the 4th grade.

    Awe so cute!! My siblings and I didn't have any teddy bear (couldn't afford it). But when my kids were born, we received plenty of them as gifts, and Pooh Bear is my favorite. :)
