Did you know peaches are part of the rose family? Yep! And that about half of the U.S. peaches come from California...not Georgia, whose nickname is The Peach State. And that "you're a peach" was a phrase that either came from gifting peaches to people you liked or because of peaches-and-cream complected women. Isn't that interesting? Well, maybe not, but I have some great recipes that might catch your interest!
Here's a Peach Cobbler that looks just heavenly. You gotta add vanilla ice cream but whipped cream will do in a pinch.
This Peach Ice Cream recipe would be fab with fresh peaches, but I'm guessing you could go with the canned kind if you drain them.
And if you like lemonade, this Raspberry Peach version would hit the spot on these hot summer days.
If you want to craft something peachy for National Peach month, you could pick up this Penny Black stamp, You're a Peach. Isn't she adorable?
Or you could get these stamps from Darcie's Heart here.
And if you just want to be stylin' and wear your peaches, check out these cutie earrings from Etsy.
Have a Peachy-keen Friday!
