Let It Go

I got this stamp free from over at Kit and Clowder  and from Stamp AnnieThing. I think she's supposed to resemble the character Anna from Frozen, but I colored her differently...that's the fun of stamps, you can do whatever you want!

I used my Prismacolor pencils again, because I love them so and just got a great deal on some at Amazon, so I have some new colors! And I used some white gel pen for accents. I used some techniques I learned from the free cupcake coloring class at Kit and Clowder for her hair. It's not perfect, but better than before the class!

After I trimmed her out, I adhered her to a watercolored background that was pre-embossed by Prima. It's made for paints, the paper is nice and thick. You get 6 printed pages in black and 6 of the same style in white embossing.

Happy Monday!

Tea and Books

If I can't have tea and cookies, hand me tea and a good book...and then bring me a cookie later. :)
This tag uses the Prima Coffee Break Paper I won way back when the Coffee Lovers Bloghop was young. I've used it sparingly, but almost always break it out for the hops. The tag was precolored aqua, my fave color and the gold snowflake paper is from the Dollar Spot at Target—get yours before they're gone!

Here's a close-up of the papers.

I think this little gift bag would be great for a mug, a book or a gift card to the coffee shop.

GIVEAWAY: Just comment on this or any of my Coffee Lovers posts Friday, Monday, Wednesday or Friday to be entered to win this pair of stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn (I originally wanted to give a LF stitched rectangle die set, but I literally cannot find it, and I'm running out of places to look. But I know where these guys are!)

If you comment on multiple days, your name goes in the draw multiple times (one per post, comments closing at noon EST Saturday, December 17).

Happy Friday!

Coffee, Tea or Me? (wink)

I'm adding a second entry to the Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop, which has been all kinds of fun. Who knew there were so many coffee-related crafty items and so many ideas? Many thanks to Amy and Chitra for organizing and making a great website. Join in if you have time today!

My second entry features Prima Marketing Coffee Break papers and teapot. I won the Prima goodies from the Seasonal Coffee Lovers Bloghop in December from my DT pal, Caffeinated Papercuts aka Jennifer. I think I love every single page in this 6x6 pad, so I put as many as I could on here, along with a variety of Prima flowers and pearls from various sources.

Here's a closeup of the little saying. It's part of the paper pack too. You can see all the Coffee Lovers entries on the PInterest page here and it's so fun to browse!

Thanks, again, Jennifer, I love my coffee goodies...although in my case, it's tea! Speaking of which, it may be time for a cuppa.

Happy Friday and Happy Hopping!

And don't forget my giveaway until Sunday! Go here to enter! I love reading the comments--thank you!

Friday Freebies For Friends

Thought I'd post some beautiful free digi art images for the holidays today. If you're looking for tags, you can find these adorable tags for FREE from Nina Seven Illustrations at  We Love to Illustrate.

This site also has these free downloadable images from Julissa Mora. The artists at this site are children's illustrators with experience and talent and who just give away some of their amazing work for use by us regular folk. I just love each of their styles. I think I could use this to make an envelope, or make it smaller and write on the back for a tag. It'd make a cute card for a foodie gift if you make those. Cuteness abounds at We Love to Illustrate.

If you like classic tags, here's a freebie from Creature Comforts. This blog has a collection of free tags for use.

And here's another from them. Love the flowery noel.

And I wanted to tell you guys how excited I was to get a little honorable mention shout-out over at the Prima blog. I didn't win, but they featured this tag on their post. It made me happy because this kind of work is a little outside my comfort zone but I thought I'd give it a whirl. I'm loving the Julie Nutting dolls and stamps and this features one of the wooden dolls. I had to Stickle her, of course. But, then, you knew there'd be glitter somewhere.

Happy Last-Friday-Before-Christmas!! I'm off to finish shopping!

More Prima Fun!

Here's another Prima tag I made for their 12 Days of Christmas contest. They have some gorgeous work to inspire you over there, so check it out even if you don't enter!

This first one is a card that uses their Say It In Crystals blue crystals. They are gorgeous and full of texture.

This tag is a wooden doll that I left uncolored with wooden Prima butterfly buttons and tons of Prima flowers and butterfly. I added pearls and a resin rose.

I love the Julie Nutting dolls and I'm going to have to order the little bitty dolls for crafting and admiring purposes!

Have a good weekend!

Up, Up And Away!

No, I'm not Superman or The Fifth Dimension (remember that song?) but I do have a balloon tag to show you. This uses Prima tags, paper, butterfly, crystals and bubblegum wax cord. Love this little girl! I fussy cut her from paper and made balloon strings she could hold. I also rolled some of the cord on a pencil to tie in the tag.

I added Prima flowers trimmed and folded, to make the skirt. Love how she looks with the matching bow in her hair. I'm enering this over at Prima Marketing for one of 12 giveaways. Join me if you can, it's full of inspiration and fun!

Happy Friday,
Chark
