I love A Day For Daisies digital stamps and entered their August challenge here. The challenge was sequins and since I'm all about the sparkle, well, I had to enter. With just an hour to spare...yes, I'm a procrastinator. Actually, I saw Kelly Latevola's design team entry recently on her blog and had to join in.
I actually restrained my sequin and glitter use to highlight this gorgeous digi stamp. Here's the close up. I also used a very light watercolor wash. I decided her hair should be lovely colors like her dress, and like a lot of my daughter's friends :)
You have to check out these stamps and notice their quality and price ($4 and under.) She even has freebies occasionally. I have a mermaid and some other delicate ladies and just love them. They have kids, animals, books and tons of other categories.
Happy Thursday!

I'm playing in the ADFD challenge also and thought I'd see if they picked a winner yet. I see they haven't but, I have to tell you that your card caught my eye and is stunning. I love the colors of her hair and dress. Love the sequins, too.
ReplyDeletethanks so much, Bunny, off to look at the other entries!
DeleteI love your delicate colouring and the pretty sequins in her hair look like flowers. Thanks for joining us at A Day for Daisies for our "Sequins" challenge. Please come again soon!

ReplyDeletewell, you're welcome and thank you!
DeleteGorgeous card and coloring! Can I ask what the name of the image is? First time seeing this one!
ReplyDeleteI'll see if I can find it...I had to rescue files from our old computer and I found my image marked ADFD but no other info...still looking though...and thanks!
DeleteI emailed them and was told by Sami that it's called Vintage Slip. But when I looked at the store, I didn't see it. Wonder if it was a freebie or something...I'll bet they could get it for you if you asked for it by name. :)
