I liked it so much, I bought some smoother wood meant for crafting and did the same. Then I used Distress Inks and a couple of Tombow markers to color it. I really like how it turned out. I also penciled in the words before I burned them and then made a little freehand border.
Here they are side by side. The tip I used is just the rounded tip so there's not a lot of finesse as far as line (with some tips you can turn and get a thin or thick line), but for my first time doing this, gotta say, I was happy with the results. And yep, I made this around Easter time, you're so clever to pick that up.
Here's the stamp I used. It's available at a2z Scrapbooking if you're interested (there's also an Antique Rose Stem stamp). And if you use CHARK15, my super secret code, you can get 15% off your total of $25 or more (before shipping). And that includes the items in the huge sale section!
I'll leave you with a little Disco Inferno for dancing purposes, or for studying the fashion and videography of the 1970s...nice shoes, dudes!
Happy Friday, friends!

You are so much fun! Those are some funky shoes. Very creative stamping on wood & then using your wood burner. It came out nice!
