Sharing With Friends

Today is a sharing day here on the blog. I'm sharing some freebies and some sites I enjoy and some blogs that I visit. Maybe you'll find something fun you want to share in.

I love the delicate images at A Day for Daisies and there is usually a free digi stamp that comes with each month's challenge so you can use it to create a project for the challenge. How cool is that? This is a project from Daria, a DT member that makes me want this stamp! This one isn't free, but it is just $4. Hop over, get your free angel digi and enter the Sparkle challenge with me. You know I can't resist a challenge called Sparkle!

A past a2z Design Teammate, Kelly Latevola, has a way with coloring that will knock your socks off.
Check this card out, gorgeous coloring, am I right?!

One crafty and talented woman who has the best soothing voice in videos, no lie, I love listening to her while I learn...it's Emily Leiphart. If you haven't watched her create, you should! Here's the latest.

If you vintage images, there's a free vintage women sheet over at Katinshrine's blog.

And if you like vintage Santa, here you go! From Graphics Fairy...they have a ton of vintage images that are free.

If you like giveaways, Taheerah Atchia is doing a fun Advent Calendar giveaway. Stop by each day and comment and blog hop for prizes...I can't imagine how much work this is, but it's fun on this end!

Happy Wednesday...see you Friday for the Coffee Hop and a prize here on my blog!

Happy Father's Day...Early

Yes, I know it's May, which means Mother's Day is coming, but that didn't stop me from making a Father's Day Card. I made it for a magazine call and it didn't make it in, but I still like the idea, so here it is!

This is a digi sentiment that they offered but is no longer available, but I typed the inside myself on the computer and guessed at the color. If you had a deer stamp of some sort you could recreate this. The thumbprints are each kid with their name and added anters, eyes and noses. The hearts are the adorable enamel stickers from Doodlebug Designs.

You could even do this as a Mother's Day Card...I might switch up the color scheme, but I don't see why deer can't be a mom thing too!

These digi deer (buck and doe) images appear to be free from imgkid.com. Or you could use Tim Holtz's deer die below and snip the antlers for a Mom card.

At any rate, I probably ought to focus on Mother's Day card next! Only 9 days away!!
Happy Friday!

Sneak Peek

I have a colorful card over at a2z Scrapbooking Supplies today, so if you wanna see how I used these daubers, come visit me! :)

Here's a Freebie digi art from Paper Crush that you can print to decorate the house, make a pin or add to a card or scrapbook page. Love!

And an idea for a treat from erecipecards if you're looking to make an easy green dessert today. Start with a white or yellow cake mix and add some food coloring and flavoring if you want (I'd pick lime over mint as they suggest).

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop Winner

Yay!! Let's hear it for the winner of the $10 Starbucks Gift Card...

Teresa Godines!!

Thank you to everyone who commented on my cards!!

Hope everyone had fun, I know I did. If you want some inspiration for any cardmaking—and coffee, tea or cocoa related cardmaking specifically, check out the fabulous Pinterest page! Thank you, Amy, for pinning everyone's projects so they were easy to access, comment and pin. You rock!

And here's a freebie for everyone who didn't win the Starbucks card. This comes from Free Vintage Digistamps and they have many images to choose from.

And, while this image isn't free, it's on sale for $2.00 (isn't it adorable?) and you can get free digi stamps from this talented artist on her blog, A Day For Daisies. They change sometimes, but I've gotten some lovely work for free (and purchased some that I had to have). She asks that you don't share the freebie on your blog, but I feel okay sharing her amazing site and work and telling you that you must check it out.

Since I'm addicted to the cupcakes from our local bake shop called Cake, Hope, and Love, I thought I'd share this freebie digital stamp—love it! And it looks like fun to color. Thank you, Angelica, for this fun freebie.

Happy Monday,

Free Bunnies To A Good Home

Saturday is International Rabbit Day and since I like bunnies, I've collected some free digi images for you to print and color to celebrate.

This adorable girl bunny is from Free Dearie Dolls Digi Stamps You can find all sorts of great stamps for crafting here, including some holiday ones if you're already working on that. Thanks to Mary Ellen Smith for making these adorable stamps available.

Here's a Mother's Day Bunny stamp that is stinkin' cute from Free Dearie Dolls too.

And, while these bunnies aren't free, I super love them. You can check them out here.

Paper And Pencils And Notebooks, Oh My!

It's that time of year around here, school has started and the buses are lurching through the neighborhood. There's something pretty cool about starting school—fun supplies, fresh starts, new outfits. But for me, the worst part is and was always the waking up at the crack of dawn. Yikes! I'm not good at it, no matter when I go to bed.

To celebrate, this is the Book Cover of the Week.

It's the back cover that I like best. David is a character that David Shannon made based on one of his childhood drawings his mom had tucked away. And David gets into a lot of trouble. The first book is called No, David! You can imagine what David is like.

And here are a couple of free digi images for you that are school-related. I love this vintage one for a teacher card.

Here's a cute little image for coloring. Check out Whimsie Doodles for this.

Happy Back-to-School Days!
